I don't really see a a difference, just slightly and only when you compare it
Just bought a series x and have witcher 3 on my xbox one and still on my first playthrough since 2016 with over 300 hours. First time playing this on the series X and you can definitely tell how more smooth it plays. I dont even have a 4k tv either and the game plays great and looks beautiful on the X. You can also turn on raytracing but i just keep it on performance and 60 fps.
Ive noticed that in alot of cases its not always noticeable except for small things. 30fps feels like it has default motion blur on in some areas. From experience I will say that the only time its unbelievably noticeable is if performance isnt consistent. Easier to notice a drop from 30 than from 60. I think this shows the importance of optimization. If the game is optimized well the hard ware doesnt have to pick up any slack.
Hear me out... 45 Fps is a good middle ground.
The difference is most clear in the combat scene at the end. In my opinion, 60 FPS is nice to have, but 30 FPS is perfectly fine for non-competitive single-player games.
U can see a difference only when u play.
You don’t “see” the difference in fps over 30 You do feel it though if you are playing
I’m here because everyone is losing their sh*t over Mindseye when I actually enjoyed the game? These comments are confirming normal people don’t care about FPS. 😂
This is so dumb. I’m tired of younger generations emphasizing higher fps when I can’t even tell the difference. If it doesn’t run like a poorly done stop motion video, then I’m fine.
Insane! I cant notice a damn difference😂
As an artist/begginer animator I noticed that the animations are ever so slightly slower than 60fps but you really gotta stay there focus to notice it- 30fps is completely playable for singleplayer games, but there's people that say that playing 30fps even hurts their eyes and makes the game "unplayable" when there's barely even a difference- cause then there's me, playing mainly, if not only, 30fps games (PS1 to PS4, stuff like the first 2 resident Evils and Crash Bandicoot on PS1, RE4 on PS2, God of War on PS3 and Bloodborne on PS4) with no problem whatsoever so- 60fps or more are a must for online shooting games cause in that case every single frame matters, but single player games? Not nearly as much, yes a higher frame rate might make it smoother, although the motion blur that comes with 60fps it's what actually hurts my eyes, but it's way to extreme to say that 30fps makes it unplayable-
Yknow what, maybe 45fps on a single player game is okay for a Steam Deck, I could spare some of that battery power anyway 😂 cool vid! Loved playing "spot the difference: with Geralt" 🐺
There is definitely a difference… but for me, it wouldn’t make or break gameplay… and the difference isn’t enough for me to spend a significant more amount of money to place something in 60 FPS. I could have just as much fun playing the same game at 30 FPS as I could at 60.
For me personally the difference here is as clear as night and day. Not everybody's perception of motion on a screen is the same, though. There are a lot of biological and technical factors contributing. I have to avoid 30 fps games at most, because for me it feels very unpleasant and rough to look at.
30 fps in tw3 look stutter af. Not like gta v or rdr2 in 30fps
its insane to me how so many people will literally review bomb games to hell because "all i can get is 30 fps.. UNPLAYABLE". The amount of bad reviews iv'e read that just absolutely trash a game because of framerate is absurd. But then again i'm someone who can play a triple a current title on low settings to get it to play on my steam deck and have an absolute blast and love the game. Its not like i haven't experienced high end gameplay either, I just don't understand how it's SOOOOOOO gamebreaking for so many people. I'm assuming its people who built their pc's by hand and aren't even mad at the game REALLY... but mad at the amount of money they've put into their machine lmao
The amount of people that don’t see the difference is alarming 😭 I’m not saying it’s just light years better… but there’s definitely an upgraded feeling and difference in the 60fps. Whether you think it’s necessary or not.
Well honestly, i thought there'd be more difference than this
I don’t care tbh gameplay over visuals any day can barely notice it Maybe cos I grew up with psx and n64 og Xbox-ps2 -360 ds- ps4 - ps5 - switch - xbsx In that order or simultaneously!
