Best start for high roller: Buy 3 coal and a lightning rod (reset for lightning rod if shop doesn't have) - Weld lightning rod to train and play rest of the game normally but with more money :D

Best fortification for allamo: One metal sheet on each side window and one one back (leave gap for yourself) Place two barbed wires on the front windows (the small ones), Place final barbed wire right above head level on the gap you left in the door to prevent mobs getting in

As a lone wolf who plays Dead Rails solo entirely, I can guarantee you that speed and other classes that are able to get you through the dangerous nights are what you need to win solo such as Werewolf, Horse, and Cowboy. Though I will say, playing solo is easier in its ways since you don't have to worry about noobs or other terrible players doing nothing but holding you and your team behind. It's just you and your train on your way to evacuate an ongoing Zombie outbreak.

I started with the Vampire class, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. The whole dying in the sun thing is a pain when you’re still figuring stuff out. But if you’re really persistent, after like 5–8 incomplete runs, it actually gets really fun. After figuring out the whole kiting tech. (Edit) Vampire being first is more likely/highly debatable, the update introduced a new mechanic which you could spam the vampire knife = faster regeneration.

Vampire class got buffed, now you can either spam your vampire knife to get way more hp from a zombie (can also kill a warewolf solo) or you can charge your vampire knife which can nearly kill a zombie, its 10x easier to kill an outlaw now, id put vampire at 1 since overall its the best class imo.

Eggslinger is an S tier class because: inf money because u can kill outlaws then sell them for money (same thing w werewolves) and infinite coal because you can kill the zombies or wolves for coal if u run out
