@eeymanjones

Bought this for my son. He will be opening it in a few hours for his Xmas gift.

@vault1998

Hi, ex geek squad employee here. Best buy sells these! Something you should know about cyberpower and ibuypower. THEY ARE A LOTTERY. The parts will almost ALWAYS vary from system to system. To these companies, a 4070 is a 4070, regardless of brand, or version. You could get a gigabyte 3 fan card, or an msi 2 fan card. Motherboard manufacturer and level will vary. PSU may vary. Even the memory can vary. This is not to say that they are bad systems, far from it. You can get a crazy deal. BUT if, lets say, you buy from a place with a good return policy, and dont like the parts you got, and they have more... you can see what I'm getting at here.

@AproovTV

I just bought this PC before it sold out, I’m blown away with the quality for a pre built amazing

@Fenris3372-Ski

I have to say, the strap holding the gpu in place is a nice touch. Especially since most pre-built problems I've seen have been the gpu coming loose.

@Mike-s9d

Got lucky and got this for 970. I really could not find anything remotely close to his spec and pricing. People here complaining about small issues but for pricing you cannot beat this deal...

@TheSnoopyclone

8:56 don’t forget the convenience portion of not having to put it all together along with having customer support and warranty of the items.

@Daniel_M_7_7

In my country, just because it comes assembled it costs almost twice as much as buying the parts separately.

The price is very good, even disassembled!

@BlackapinoTheTechGuy

No Lie that's not bad, It's good to see Retailers using AMD now

@Pt08020

One stick of RAM on a $1400 PC is insane.

@knowyourjoe8826

Now 2 months later, in the middle of the GPU shortages and this Now $1,438.98. Dang. That was great price.

@Deta-zv3zw

Everyone knows that peak performance is achieved with 1 stick of RAM and 3 Corsair RGB dummy sticks

@michaeldunn5788

I dont care how new you are to computers the best part about computer is building your own. Putting it all together and getting it to work. These days it's 100% easier than what it used to be.

@spladam3845

Someone might have mentioned this but DDR5 cannot run in dual channel with only one stick and if you want to upgrade it's probably smarter to buy a matched pair instead of taking a chance of buying another single DIMM of the same make and model when you upgrade.
It's a nice case and they seemed to have used good parts.

@daemian2k

Ibuypower and cyberpower are underrated PC builders. They are my go to brands for pre-builts and laptops

@BHSilver

The allusive chirp around the 2:49 mark. lol.

@Savagish

I bought an IBuyPower PC from Best Buy about 4 years ago for Black Friday after shopping for parts to build my own. I have been extremely happy with the quality. I did notice that right out the box, one of the case fans was running backwards, but was easily switched around by the plug. The only major failure was the water cooler system that failed last summer. It worked but was noisy, I was lucky enough to be given a replacement from my brother but could have replaced it for about $50-75 with new.

I would 100% recommend purchasing and when it is time to replace my existing one, I will buy another one.

Note: shop around between Best Buy, Walmart, and Sam’s Club and pay attention to the box and build date. I found that Best Buy had a slightly better/newer version of the same video card. I personally probably wouldn’t notice a difference but worth mentioning to others.

@josefmazzeo6628

This is what in the retail business they call a loss leader, designed to spur sales at a loss, and then hook you in with other products or upgrades.

@MislavM7

It's astonishing that in Europe, building costs can exceed 2,000 euros, whereas a similar build in the US might only cost around $1,000. The significant price disparity is striking and warrants consideration.

@brucetrathen8011

As of Dec 26 2024 it is no longer on sale for that price, now $1400ish.
