Playback too fast? You can slow it down in the Youtube player in ‘settings’ then ‘playback speed’
Here are some notes about how I wrote the tab:

I'll start with a little talk about the fact that this song was recorded on Kill Em All in the key of G minor which isn't a key that we hear much in Metallica's music. This song was brought to the band by Mustaine who had started writing this song while he was in his previous band, Panic.
If you check live videos of this song, you'll realise that Metallica now play the song in the key of F# minor, probably because it suits James' voice better.
Since my aim was to transcribe the original recording as faithfully as possible, I stuck to the key of G minor.

Since the song has evolved quite a bit when Metallica play it live, I stuck to old live performances from the Kill Em All era.
In this live performance, I was able to double check the accuracy of all the riffs:

Metallica: Jump In The Fire (Chicago, Illinois - August 12, 1983)

In this performance, James plays the power chords in the verse riff with a mix of two different fingerings.
He plays the power chords that have a root on the A string with his index finger and his pinky (that's the way he normally plays all power chords) but he plays the power chords that have a root on the E string the old school way (index - ring - pinky). I believe it is because when he switches from the Bb5 to the F5, it is almost completely noiseless if you play it this way. It is a small detail but since it caught my eye, I decided to play it the same way in my rendition. You can see James play the riff that way in this video:

Metallica: Jump In The Fire (Chicago, Illinois - August 12, 1983) (timestamp 00:47)

For the bridge riff, James goes from a Bb5 on the A string to another Bb5 but with a root note on the low E string.
He does this so that the whole riff bridge can be played with power chords based on the low E string.
You can see Hetfield's hand playing that Bb5 higher up the neck with the root on the E string here:

Metallica: Jump In The Fire (Chicago, Illinois - August 12, 1983) (timsetamp: 02:23)

For Kirk's solo, I managed to find the isolated tracks for both solos. I then slowed them down and studied them with headphones so I could grasp all the small details. I then double checked the accuracy of the neck positions with the live performance in Chicago.
You can find the two videos with the isolated solo tracks on YouTube:

I hope you 'll appreciate the effort I put into making the research to provide you with the best possible tab for this awesome song.

Cheers and rock n roll my friends

@justinkantner7162

Dave and James - awesome that they could sing while playing monster riffs 🔥

@Lovattelli

Continue with those videos!! Sooo gooooooddd!!!!!!🎸🎸🎸

@jamesforrest7637

This is an awesome production all the way around. Love how the little 'Jump in the Fire' demon pops into view right around :56 into the song and then disappears into the flames a second later. Tremendous attention to detail. Nice job Jeff!

@douglasdbs7139

This song summarizes very well the early Mustaine days. One of the best Mustaine songs in Metallica

@Mage_Goat

Easily some of the tightest playing on YouTube. I love how your playing captures the technique of the guitarist you're playing as, and you always have the right instruments for the era. Not only is this a good channel to learn from, but the presentation is always top tier! I can't wait to see your next upload!

(I'd love to see some more Rust In Peace songs! A good video on Lucretia would be awesome.)

@belikewater16

Thank you so much!

@J.Matt666

@fabriziosolinas

Wow tra i primi pezzi che ho imparato ....male!! Ma almeno ci assomigliava un pò!! :-) Che figata!!

@TheMetalus1

First song i learned on guitar back in the day, a all time favourite.

@Rage-of-War

Stellar performance bro!!

@metalage9751

Awesome. That was really cool (or maybe hot is more appropriate). I have a Jump in the Fire t-shirt that's well over 35 years old, and seeing the demon appear on screen made me laugh. Excellent cover man. Great work. 🤘

@sixstringslayaguitarman419

Yeah! One of my top Kill'em All songs! This one has that killer groove and flow. Love the main riff and the solos are awesome as well. This song has Dave Mustaine written all over it. :) Probably why I like it so much but hey I love all Megadeth and Metallica! Both are killer in my book! Thanks for the post! This will be fun to finally learn the solo from. :)

@theduftmeister

watching the likes button spinning away in the background whilst the vid is playing.
nice work man!

@JoséManuelCastañedaRamírez

Amazing!!!! Can you do a video for the song Killing Is My Bussiness or another classic thrash metal song from the 80's like Angel Of Death or My Last Words?

@lospapoticos

Awesome work man but please do Creeping Death -Metallica next 🙏🙏🙏

@marcopolo6198
