A Green Day song that just gets better with age. Thats quite common with this band. Songs that stand the test of time.
I remember getting this album when I was 10 and my mum wouldn't let me get the uncensored version. The guy at the music shop saw how much I wanted the uncensored version swapped the discs and when I got home I realised and only listened with headphones. What a legend.
This song never stops being relevant.
There has never been a more appropriate time in this nation's history for this song.
This song keeps getting more relevant and relevant every day
To those saying this song is relevant now.... it’s been relevant since before it was written
Little did anyone know that when this song came out in 2004, it was heralding the modern American life. I mean, the lyrics were important then, but its insane how well they've stood the test of time and become more and more resonant in the past 17 years. A new kind of tension, the age of paranoia, do the propaganda, etc. Era defining music right here
Getting an ad for the military before listening to this song is pure tonal whiplash
This song has never been more relevant! One of the best songs of all time.
This is more relevant than ever.
The way this song has been ON A LOOP in my head over the past few days…….
coming back to this gem after the new war in iran broke out- 😭
i think we can all agree that this should be played right now all over the nation edit: ok guys maybe we should stop edit edit: election time, blast it on full volume again
I love how Tré just runs around the drums at 0:39
Don't know why, but I was just watching the debate between Trump and Biden the other day and this song popped out on my head and it hasn't left ever since.
concerning how this song never stops being relevant.
20 years and we’re all here
Suddenly this song hits different now and days
