I kinda like Tinkatons just for the implication that the only reason its a shiny is because it committed itself to hunting shiny corviknights specfically. The level of dedication and spite is very funny to me.

Komala is basically just like Tinkaton, it's little tree drum becomes pink instead of brown but the actual koala has no differences

Yeah, the Tinkatink line and Komala are the first ones that come to my mind when it comes to missed shiny opportunities specifically. I don't really know what Komala's shiny could reference, but the Tink line referencing Iron Age and Bronze Age is a neat touch (even if bronze is weaker compared to iron). Having the body color change from bright pink to either a gunmetal gray or oceanic blue would have made an amazing parallel to the superstition of "metal gremlins" or "aircraft gremlins" that popped up during World War 2 in an attempt to explain sudden mechanical failures in aircraft in-flight, which still integrates it with the dex entries about Corviknights being targets of Tinkaton.

My least favorite shiny used to be Regice. It doesn't change pretty much at all, and the only reason for this is because from gen 5 on the sprite for regular Regice was changed to be almost identical to the shiny; in gens 3 and 4 it's actually a good bit more noticable, and that just made modern shiny Regice even worse... And then Ceruledge came out.

Lets be honest. We all hate the ones that barely change at all. Gengar (Not counting Mega/Giganta), Garchomp, Charcadet, etc... But the ones I hate the most that DO actually change, are all the dehydrated-pee green coloured shinies. At least the pink ones are usually vibrant and flamboyant. Meanwhile, the yellow-green just looks like they've grown mould in the amount of time they've overstayed their welcome.

The Charcadet line. They should be teal to represent Kitakami/The Teal Mask. And before I get any replies that say, 'BuT MyStMoN, tHe ChArCaDeT lInE hAs NoThInG tO dO wItH tHe DLC, sO tEaL dOeSn'T wOrK', literally anything works when the real thing is just 'swap the eyes'.

For tinkatin, you could make the hammer the colour of corviknights shiny and then make tikaton itself an emerald green to contrast the silver
