@JuiceboxDesmond

And with that, Danny Elfman wins the COVID-Quarantine music video contest.

@revisedbrand

I love the proud smile of her father the daughter has. And how thoroughly confused the dog looks at his first shot, saying What I got to do with this? Lol, then at the end how unmotivated the dog looks on the treadmill lol. 😂

@lordofinsanity6615

This warms my old Boingo heart. So happy to be hearing a new amazing version of Running on a Treadmill. 10/10

@rodwinter1978

I am a 46-year-old musician. I play guitar and have graduated in Classical Music, COmposition and Arrangements. Sure enough I love the classics, like Beethoven, Wagner, Vivaldi , Fux. But, IMHO, Danny Elfman is the greatest genius ever to breath on this Earth.

@cap350125

Sounds like the ghost of the mystic knights joining in and for some reason that got me all emotional.

@SCHirurgeon

Five years later, I still want a formal release of this version of this song so badly. It's a favorite.

@TheChefmike66

How many times have I listened to this. Many nights I listen to it when I go to sleep. since I was a teenager. I'm 57. I love Oingo Boingo and Danny Elfman.

@Myuu

Thank you so much for this!! You are such a huge inspiration. Stay safe, sir!

@stevetodd551

Long long ago, in a galaxy far. Far away. A young man in the mosh pit, citrus college auditorium. I miss boingo. I truly grew up in the best age ever.

@madelelne

can this PLEASEEEEEE be added to spotify or soundcloud ?! this song, specifically this version, just sends me straight up to cloud 9. i can’t describe in words the emotions this version of the song makes me feel… it’s so beautiful

@MaiseNow

Danny, I religiously listened to your Oingo Boingo stuff in high school (2007-2011), and randomly decided to revisit it today only to discover you've started releasing singles and stuff again!!

Thank you for sharing the brain worm with us in this new form 💖 honestly I feel like this version has just a little something the old album version was missing.

The vibe is not frantically sprinting like the original, it's more just.... unconscious repetition of a cycle. And somehow to me that's more fitting.

@riczen6652

Wow. Seriously, Danny, your music is out of this world! I absolutely loved this. Brilliant stuff.

@oddishsmile7368

Your music elicits such strong emotion in so many different ways. Even 50 years later you're one of the most talented songwriters there is.

@AdamSpade

One of my Boingo favorites. It definitely sticks to the brain.

@hyprpoint

This is the ultimate fanfare to one of the best New Wave bands.

@rafaelcarvalho576-RC

WOW!!! This is really Happening... Mr. Danny "Oingo Boingo" Elfman !!! Backing to the old school ! Always perfect!

@LindaLundinColoringBooks

My favourite oingo boingo tune. Little spookier than normal. Loving it though

@TheChefmike66

Oh, how I love this. The memories.
Thank you sir.

@13tisa13

I remember being a kid, hearing Beetlejuice melody for the first time. Was obsessed with it but being a kid I never looked up to who made it, I just liked the tunes.
Throughout the years to my high school days, I heard some more catchy tunes from various movies that I really loved and I think that was the time I started looking into who makes these masterpieces. To my surprise, the best tunes that never left my mind were made by one man, Danny Elfman! I started following his music like I would any other popular band ( remember I was in my teens ), and with great anticipation awaiting the new unique movie theme, I was never disappointed! I also researched, watched any interviews to get a feeling of what kind of a man is my idol...I was surprised by his life story and climb in the movie industry. The fact that he had no music school degree like the other movie composers at the time, and still beat all of them in their game was just...WOW! I had a band at the time and this really made me feel like music is something that comes from your mind and soul, school can help understand it better yes, but it can also cripple your creativity. You can not create something new blindly following the same steps everybody else does, gotta make your own path.
I'm 37 now, composed a few songs myself, still doing music and enjoying it a lot, not limiting myself to anything in life and it's all thanks to this man right here!
 Thank you Danny for inspiring me throughout the years in all possible ways!

@Dublkros

Oh man, just now listening to this with my new wireless buds, damn JBL got their sound game tight!
