I love how the Pokemon have voices and personalities, but the human trainer Exit is an empty shell. They named him Exit because after he met Jolteon his soul EXITed his body.

I find the role reversal of Umbreon and Espeon during the grave scene amusing. A zombie Altaria starts to rise from its grave and the quick-to-violence Umbreon instead chooses to take his son to safety while the pacifist Espeon stays behind and pulls out a gun
