I'm a masculine man and am proud of my masculinity especially since it's under attack now but I have to say there is nothing wrong with calling a man beautiful lmao... that's still a nice compliment. Great interview btw just had to comment on that one lol.

@vk33771

I love how Coach Bronson simplifies it. I started off simply and then got off into the weeds trying to figure macros and an 80/20 ratio. I felt so much better when I just ate the meat and listened to my body.

@mama_j5041

I appreciate this because I've gained 3 pounds in 8 days on carnivore. However, I don't agree that if you're stuck there's something you're doing wrong. Hormones, stress, sleep, etc really can halt all weight loss especially if you need to heal first. Many people need to heal hormones before they can release the weight. I'm very strict no sweeteners just eggs, butter, meat, water etc. 2 meals a day no snacks. It's just going to take time to let my body know it's safe and it can release the fat.

@monicathrasher3561

I’ve heard, “you need to eat more protein OR you need to eat more fat” so frustrating. I was eating hamburger, steaks, butter, egg yolks, heavy whipping cream… all in moderation, and gained in my mid section significantly. Now I’m trying meat only, not worrying about 80/20, macros, calories, etc, although my calories are low cause I’m satiated. Now I’m gonna hear… “not enough calories “

@therealdeal3672

I'm really glad I watched this video. Excellent content. I almost didn't click on it because I'm specifically not focusing on weight loss but I'm focusing on health and adapting to live the carnivore lifestyle forever. But the information in this video was exactly what I needed to hear! Thank you! And by the way it's okay to call a man beautiful! And he should be comfortable with it since he's beautiful! LOL

@gladstone145

And here is the problem with carnivore diet one person tells you more protein and another person tells you more fat it’s so confusing.

@markcowan3366

I LOVE #2!!!! I have been preaching this for over a decade! It's taboo to mention that in most forums, sub reddit, and other places where people talk about low carb diets. "If it fits your macros" is the only acceptable response and I've been kicked out of nearly every forum for arguing that people (especially new people) should stick to a strict keto diet so they can heal, lose weight, fix their relationship with food, get over cravings, etc. Then work on portion control and introducing things slowly.

@divergentmind2023

when i started carnivore over four years ago i gained twenty pounds the first two months. my body could not have enough protein. but i was feeling amazing. so i trusted the process and saw other people having weight gain as well. i would cook meat for my whole family of six and i would eat all the meat and have to redo for them lol

but after two months my body needed less and less protein and i had lost sixty pounds by six months mark.

so if it is initially our body may needing time to heal and reajust.

i did mostly lean meats sometimes picanha but i have added fat for four weeks now and i can see improvements: sleeping longer. skin is more hydrated. my taste buds have changed.

@RV-there-Yet

That truly is the tricky part for folks; figuring out exactly WHAT is the right ratio of protein & fat for the individual, especially considering how much conflicting info & opinion is out there. Also, so much of what works- or does not- varies, based on where that person is coming from, health & diet-wise, age/gender/hormones/immune function/exercise/etc.
    Upshot is that it's a true labor of love, being patient & methodical w/our efforts & really tuning into all the body will feed back to us. It takes time to experience enough different trials to determine what works~ & even then, that can change as our body/age/ hormones/etc continue to change....are we in it for the long haul?
     For myself, approaching it as a lifelong endeavor is the only way to reduce the angst over every little thing that doesn't help, or why is it taking so long, etc & so forth. This IS my one & only life! Why not gently incorporate my forever health & well-being as part of my everyday, forever life?! It's that important, & it should never have been about reaching some pinnacle, being "all done w/that"~ no, NO, NO dear human. It's perfectly acceptable then to allow my body time to find it's groove, figure it out, & then continue to adapt & shift as needed.
     It's okay to get frustrated & wonder why something's not getting desired results, yet how many of us are willing to simply sit with that, get back to a logical, centered place, & make incremental shifts based on OUR OWN experiences~ NOT someone else's "next best thing", right?! We respond emotionally when we don't get results~ at least I have, & I should speak for myself. Take control by taking in all the information, yes, but we are not carbon copies of one another. We are individual beings & owe to ourselves & our goals to truly give each new effort it's due time, & adjust from there...is that weeks? Months? Does it matter? We're still moving forward, still living life w/good health as our goal/foundation.🎯
    There are lots of smart, experienced people who have a whole lot of excellent info & services available to help us on our way. Ultimately, however, they are there to get us on our feet, so to speak~ we must take charge at some point & become our own body's expert. We want to be given the perfect formula," just tell me what to do & I'll do that"~ but this ignores the most important component of foundational good health~ know thyself. We have to learn our own body's quirks & tendencies, then develop ways to utilize such to our advantage.😂 Try your own patience; look in the mirror every morning & promise yourself you will be more patient than the day before~ that you are worth the time, effort & investment in yourself. Might sound a bit silly, but dang if it doesn't seem to work- most days anyhow.
   Ok~ didn't intend to go on so long~ have an amazing one-life-we-get-to-live all you beautiful, capable people out there!!🤸‍🌟🎈

@Sugarplumcottage

I really needed to here this talk. I am having an emotional time because I am emotionally tied to baking and baked good for my family and this talk has actually helped me to want to refocus my baking into making yummy meats. My husband supports my carnivore diet but he wants to eat keto right now so that’s been an emotional struggle sitting their watching him eat something like cottage cheese or yogurt that I want but can’t have. Carnivore has not been emotionally easy for me. Did carnivore for 3 months had to take 2 months off because of the emotional aspect and now I’ve started back so I hope I make it past 3 months this time :) and I felt great those 3 months but it wasn’t enough for me.

@meriksen_

Dr. Elizabeth Bright is one (and maybe just my favorite) has talked about increasing fat especially for women and I feel so much better/different.

I think that kind of thing needs to be addressed more.

I am feeling a ton better on higher fat then I ever have.

@stevenhamilton801

Appreciate the shorter videos packed with info 👌

@leavesofchange

Totally! I shake my head at people who are always keto-breading all the fish - just cook the fish simply!

@angelacrick4314

You are top notch! I love how you get straight to the point. You always ask the questions I want to. Keep on doing what you do. 🙏🏻😊❤️

@joemags5748

I am getting ready to start a carnivore diet and I am pleased that I happened on this video. This doctor presented a new way for me to look at what I want and direction on how to get there.

@jeannedigennaro6484

Coach Bronson gives excellent advice. And your questions were specific.

@branandubh

To make it simple, on a low carb or carnivore diet, you need to eat protein to satiation, enough to stop cramping, and enough fat to avoid constipation or dry colon. Trust what feels right to some degree.

@Pullyaheadin92

I get all the nutrients I need from fatty beef, salt and water. You can’t go wrong and after a month and I’m fat adapted and can quiet easily eat once a day. Fat is literally falling off me and my energy and mood is next level

@lottygreen3856

As a guide, a protein portion should fit into the palm of your hand, some of the meat on the palm of your hand will include between 5% and20% of fat so if I include that and have two of these portions per day is that enough food for a 5 foot person that is overweight please make it clear how to calculate what a protein is.
