HDR won't matter until it's implemented in our phones, tablets and laptops since most of the Netflix users stream there instead of a 4k HDR OLED $3000 curved screen.

Daredevil sorely needs it. Great show, but with any action that took place in a dark sewer or warehouse (which is quite a lot), the picture quality is so black I can't see the fight scenes (I had to adjust the picture settings to the point he was a red silhouette moving around a blue background, just to see what was going on).

Man, I just bought a new TV for the first time in 5 years earlier this year. ..and now they're tempting me to upgrade to an HDR capable TV. I probably won't upgrade soon but maybe eventually.

In most of those side by side comparisons, there was just a slight bit of higher dynamic range, maybe half a stop, and then you pumped up saturation by 20% and all kinds of color highlights were blown out. That shit doesn't look better.

Netflix , cut the crap ! Where the hell are those 150 hours of hdr content you promised by the end of 2016 ??? Every time you release a show, it is in SDR. Luke Cage is in sdr, Daredevil season 2 is in sdr, The Crown is in sdr. How outrageous to watch this vide where you are promoting hdr, when you barely have two shows that support hdr !!!!

That's great. How about you start releasing some actual content in HDR? Stranger Things, Narcos, The Crown, The Getdown, White Rabbit, Black Mirror, Daredevil season 2, I could go on. ALL of these should have been released in HDR no excuses. Every single of those would have been if they'd been on Amazon.

Right... but we only have 6 movies/tv shows available in HDR on netflix right now. Weren'y we promised much more than that? I'm hoping that newly released shows include HDR more prominently.
