I was in the Canadian Artillery stationed in Germany during the 1980's. We had the older version of the M109A4, the changes since those days is amazing! What took minutes, now takes seconds.
When I heard the word Paladin, I immediately thought of the TV show Have Gun, Will Travel." I watched when I was a very young kid. Paladin rides again!
Paladin is the king 👑
Damn right the palidon is a boss hoss I didn't realize the fragmentation range until hot steel landed near my position and I was pretty safe distance away
We had paladins with us in Iraq when I was there. Their shells sound like they're ripping the atmosphere. Absolutely shredding it.
As a Vietnam Veteran, I can tell you with absolute certainty that a small country, with international support, cannot be beaten, especially if their opponent does not have the support of its own people. Stop saying, Ukraine cannot win this war. Ukraine cannot and must not lose this war.
Ukraine has gotten very good at using this tech, for artillery strikes NATO the United States and others, are learning from Ukraine how they use this technology, my belief is that, toad artillery is done, self-propelled artillery is the only way to go forward,, this is how Russia is losing, a lot of equipment, and personnel, and this technology works day or night, in all kinds of weather situations, not the same for the Russian artillery system, plus the Russians do not do maintenance very well on their equipment, so there is a strong possibility that their artillery equipment, armor and other things, may not work when they need it because they have not done preventive maintenance on the, weapon systems.
As a 105mm howitzer gunner in 1967/68, I shake my head in wonder at artillery today. Simply amazing. Ubique.
Wonderful!!!
Yes this is true capability. I am a retired Army Officer and we did this all the time. In Desert Storm and Iraq.
amazing technical corridination
this is why the planned successors to the Paladin have had a rough go. it's hard to out Cadillac Cadillac
Russian tanks went up against US tanks in Iraq. DIDN'T turn out well for them.
If I remember correctly the paladin can fire 5 rounds and all 5 impact the same target at the same time. They can also link multiple paladins together with fire control being done by a single person and have all rounds from them hit the same target simultaneously.
"Self-prepared howitzer" - <sic>
Putin's senseless war!!!
Everybody on those military vs military videos always be laughing because American artillery is lacking but we choose quality versus quantity and we are proving it in Ukraine
"Duel Imaging"? Is that when pictures take ten paces, turn, and fire? 🤣
"automated loading systems" shows the crewman loading the cannon... rude! XD
