You could dissolve fresh yeast in warm milk and then add it to the flour. In Europe we use fresh yeast all the time and it works better that way.

Had made these for Christmas, froze them for 3 days then night before pulled them out into the fridge and pulled out of the fridge 2 hours prior to baking. Also added 1/4 cup of Cream before baking. It was no fuss, used a pack of instant dry even. I'm a new dad with a new tradition! Thanks Jose!

If someone forced me to delete all my food subscriptions but one, this is the one I'd keep. You're a great teacher. Fun fact: my grandma (and her whole tribe) always rolled out brioche dough on an oiled surface, it's so much easier.
I made this and hands down the absolute best recipe! My family loved them. Especially the glaze.
Highly recommended! I made it yesterday and I felt like I'm the greatest baker even tho I'm a dude who followed a perfect recipe. But next time I'm going to add more salt in both the dough and the filling to elevate flavour more and I used all purpose flour only, it was perfectly fine.
