Wow! I am impressed with that judge. It is so rare in these court videos to hear a judge give multiple sentences to be served consecutively. Bravo!

"Letting her down...???" Um, no. You didn't "let her down." You shattered her. You destroyed her trust, her sense of safety and her peace of mind...for years. What you did to her can't ever be undone. Hopefully she receives a lot of counseling and comes out of this nightmare with the ability to live a happy, healthy and successful life. But she might not. So many young girls who are victims of sexual assault, especially by fathers or step fathers, completely lose their self worth turn to self destructive behaviors that end up ruining their lives.

I’m truly grateful this judge went beyond the recommendations. There are too many bleeding heart judges and DAs , which is why our society is suffering. Kudos to this judge. I’m sure that was the most he could do without blow back and the guy walking from technical legal mumbo jumbo.
