If you like what you're doing, then go for it. That's been my mantra for years. I tend to think of your ambiances in the same vein as abstract art—they exist purely to evoke a feeling or an atmosphere, and to let the audience fill in the blanks for themselves. I think they're quite beautiful and cathartic in their own way. Noise to drown noise.

This sounds very good. I think, you have no image of your future results. I work in same way, but in mathematics. I upgade pure mathematics, which is completely useless, but completely supercool. The more I do, the more increased value of my work. Each component of my work is simple, and many people triggered, that it is for stupids. But whole agragate of components is very impressive. The main Idea is: you will be great, when your creations became unique great world. Each composition is nothing, the main value is whole world. If you want popularity as unique artist, you should create the world, and then appears value of legacy. Of course it is difficult whith money or today popularity. It is strategical thing, investition in future. So, for the fast money it should be another project. The logic of fast project and long project are different. Fast project obeys marketing, long project is your own masterpeace -- it is your own contribution in culture, you create things, which didn't exist, and people can't judje, they are not experts, its new. But culture will be new after your creations. In hight art you should think about your legacy. People will judge your whole legacy, but not each composition. (Except if you create grand composition, composition whith a lot of work, or experience in it.)
