I disagree with calling any 4 star just "F2P" friendly, when you're more likely to get a specific 5 star than a specific 4 star.

honestly i feel like barbara is super underrated for her combo of healing and hydro application, especially early game since she’s another character the game just gives you. the number of dendro cores she can generate alone makes her worthwhile in bloom teams when you consider she’s also healing all that core explosion damage

The analysis is spot on. I would add Yao Yao and Kuki Shinobu to your list. Yao Yao is guaranteed at Lantern Rite and is great at C0. Kuki is never guaranteed, but with enough pulling odds are you will get her. I always like to address a misnomer in these guides though: "F2P" or "free" is not the same "no pull". The character does not need to be in the star glitter shop or on the Lantern Rite Banner or guaranteed like Collei, Kaeya, Lisa, Noelle, Barbara, Lynette, Traveler, or Amber, to be "free". They're not the only character you can get for "free" or "F2P". Real "no money spent" accounts have limited 5* characters but they really pick and choose the 5*s because they cannot spend any money. To illustrate the point: Kazuha is the "better" Sucrose, and even F2P accounts can and should have him. Furina is arguably a better Xingqiu, and covers part of what Bennett does (buffing). If you want Dendro at all, then you save for Nahida - the only dendro unit you'll ever need. If you want a shield, you don't go for Beidou, you go for Zhongli. If you want off-field electro application, you pull for Raiden Shogun. My point is that all these 5*s are game-changing and if you save your primos, you can buy them all within one year. So, while the characters listed in the video are great Xingqiu, Xiangling, Bennett, Fischl, Beidou and Surcrose, (although I think Beidou and Sucrose are overrated), don't restrict yourself to 4* characters. SAVE your primogems and get the Kazuha, Nahida, Furina, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun on their banners. Now your account is broken... your welcome. If you want more limited 5*s on a budget that pair well with the above: Kokomi, Yelan, Ayato, Neuvillette, Alhaitham, Baizhu (in no particular order). If you get everyone listed above you can always beat the Abyss no questions asked.

So I watched a lot of videos, a lot mentioned Bennett. I started playing Genshin 2 days ago. So I went and looked up how to get Bennett and was disappointed because the videos told me its hard to get a specific character from those packs😂but the game game me 10 of those blue balls and I pulled for a 10x pack. Quess who I got? BENNETT!!! I guess I’ll stick around for a bit longer.

I'm not sure I can agree all these characters fit the "free" criteria, since the only way to get 34 glitter is to pull on banners. Presuming one 4* per 10 pulls, that's 170 pulls to get enough to buy a character from the shop, which I can imagine probably takes a while to accumulate, necessitating waiting half a year or more for them to even appear once they been be afforded (and probably no more than 1 per year, though if you can get gems faster than that then cool). Still really good stuff to know, but a few of these are still behind somewhat of a wall it seems.

Been a Beidou main since the game launched. I can genuinely say that she's very powerful and has insane carry potential if you build her in a good team. Her constellations are also pretty garbage so you don't need her C6 to work. If anything, C2 is the only real difference maker but only under specific circumstances. I have been playing her as a phys+electro hybrid since day one and can confidently say that she's hard carried me through almost every abyss. All in all, she's a Support/DPS/Tank that's definitely worth your investment. For the curious, my team is: - Beidou(C6) - Nahida(C1) - Diona(C6) - Kujou Sara(C6)

Hear me out,for those who picked Jean as the free 5-star,Bennett(support+heal),Jean(support),Xing Qiu(hydro off-field) and razor(main dps) Bennett and Jean bursts together provide the sunfire combo then using xingqiu’s burst and razors burst you can just watch the enemy die to the electric chair you set up

Barbara is also a free character and she's so good too her being a supp she really helps me a lot especially her combo with lisa at the early game

Bennet's not really free though because you still have to spend primo and stuff, not by story or challenge
