A decade  ago, archaeologists found these sculptures near my villlage predating this era. They are now on display in a museum which they set up in my village - Sanghol, in Punjab, India.

The big pool is called ‘kulam’. You can still find such structures in tamilnadu temples. It was build for emergency periods like invasion so all people get inside the big structure for safety. That kulam satisfies the people’s water needs during those emergency times.

I live in area which falls around the ghaghar canal in Punjab, Harappan remains have totally vanished, thanks to our lack of decent leadership, understanding and scholars. I personally wish to retrieve from this civilization, it sucks!!

I hope we can decipher their writing some day, as one of the four river valley civilizations that laid the foundations of world civilization itself I believe deeply that they deserve to have their stories told.
