I just wanted to point out that I find it incredibly hilarious that Leomon has an effect that activates when he’s deleted. Even in a card game Leomon can’t be spared from death.

Something me and some friends do (that we blatantly stole from Kohdok) is after we get starter decks and decided we like the game, we either buy a box each or split it, any buy-a-box promos get resold unless one of us is looking for it. Then we just swap cards between the boxes so everyone can make the deck they want without having to buy too many singles to finish it

I'm constantly chopping and changing my decks. I first started with BT8 and went heavy on a Blackwargreymon deck. I still use said deck, but I find it overly complicated compared to some other decks, say Gallantmon. Speaking of, I've recently gotten the cards needed to finish my Gallantmon deck and it's have a pretty consistent win/lose ratio compared to my other decks. The other deck I've only just started playing is a mono purple Malomyotismon deck running around the gimmick of trashing Myotismon's and using Arukenimon and Mummymon to bring them out cheaply for the sacrifice. The main problem I have for decks is I prefer to stick to just a limiting theme, my X-saber deck for Yu-Gi-Oh rarely has non X-saber cards in it, same kinda goes for Digimon I like to pick a Mon and focus the deck around it using the most logical evolution line, despite the game being pretty free for evolving your cards. Very helpful video, a must see for beginners.

Love your channel and you and team aps got me into digimon it's a balanced game memory is a great counter to the problem that you gi oh and magic has unbreakable boards mark my words digimon goin to.surpass Pokemon for card collecting surpass yu gi oh for dynamic strategies and board and magic for the variety it brings

The worst part of seeing all these cool card games is the lack of anybody to play super casually with :) and the lack of any video game versions to play so you CAN play casually by yourself.

now thats it been a bit buying a cheap bulk of cards is never a bad idea on tcgplayer you can get 1000 cards for 30 bucks that should be more than plenty to make two decks and start playing around of course they probably wont be the best or up to date but hey its something to get you started ya know

I’m thinking about building ultra force veedramon I know not most competitive deck I will prob lose a lot but I love playstyle and V mon line are some my fav Digimon. I’m just worried deck maybe expensive due to promo tamers I need.

I agree not to buy boxes. But I've had some good luck. I bought 3 booster boxes, and 2 blue starter decks. From that I was able to build Blue omnimon (complete with omnimons), Purple (complete with 2 piedmons, lillithmons and beelzemons) and rookie rush. Once again, I do agree to not buy boxes off the bat. However you are probably fine if you purchase 2 of them to be honest

Here in Chile i buy a booster box and make a yellow and green deck (both inspired in this channel) by changing cards of the colors i dont use by the ones i needed (sorry about my English)
