@suri5424

i can't hear this song without hearing the sound of Courtney's Moltres moving fire energy around in my head

@たけ-d4j

これはずるいって。8bit drum'n'bassでは間違いなく最高峰だよ。

@blakeyjh7

Literally one of those hardest tracks put into a handheld game cartridge

@CynicalGamingBlogTerry309

Still the most intense 8 bit song of all time... alongside the lance battle theme in Pokemon Gold and Silver

@lifelesskaos

This song slaps so fucking hard. Kind of wild it’s 8 bit. Truly a masterclass of music. The progression is subtle but builds up nicely.

@16maze

That beat change at 1:23 was crazy as a 12 year old ha ha I love the 8 bit era, they had to really make sure the music was small enough to fit the cartridge and create something in the matter of size.

@MysticBlueFox

The song starts out smug and side eyeing you, it knows that its bad ass.

Transforms about a quarter of the way reminding you that this is bad ass territory.

@noonethatspecial

This is one of my favorite GBC songs of all time. The percussion really sells the intensity of track.

@Aelfraed26

Truly an 8-bit masterpiece

@Chernobog2

when this music starts up, you know you're in for an epic battle....
then you win by default because the Grand Master only managed to put one weak pokemon on the field and you beat it on the first turn...

@joniden2215

God the memories are flooding in listening to this.

@jpereid

This song needs to be in smash so bad.

@SJtheMFZB

Man, you don't know how relieving it is to hear that other people struggled against Courtney. Played the game just now for the first time in years and swept through everyone with brutal beatdowns and energy control... Except for her. If I hadn't gotten lucky with confusion on her Moltres, it would have just run through me before I could get anything going....

@TwilightPrince123

2:18 - 2:43 That rising tension in the music always got my game on!

@210marcus

Love how it has a hip hop beat to it, beautiful.

@fen9598

I used to have the original one. Technically I still do, but it died and won't start up now. Thank you, 3DS E-shop! :P

@TheRaiko777

The best track in the game and it still holds up to this day for 8 bit goodness. Starts off slow as it should as both players draw their cards and begin their plans and set ups, then picks up as the duel goes on and things start having more pressure to it.

@MarioMarioPlushGUY

These battles were so intense

@glasshill

The music composer for this game must be a genius to be able to make this with 8 bit machinery! one work: Amazing!

@Cedthelad

Remaster this for Pokémon TCC Pocket, please!
