I wish Megatron was portrayed in live action films the way he was in Transformers Prime. It's so rare to see Megatron's gladiator roots touched in any Transformers adaptation.

It really does suck that this was taken out, all we had as a fragment of the backstory was when Prime said "Megatron started the war!" And the "we were brothers once" line that would have tied it all together.

TLK was the most tortured film during production alongside ROTF if Paramount was smart with their decisions they could’ve been entirely different movies

And yet they decide to focus more on the human side, when it didn't even matter in the entire movie. It felt like two short movies compiled together. I just hate how the Bay films were so shy with giving the Cybertronians some sort of dialogue and backstory. The whole gladiator gimmick was such an important part of Megatron's history as well
