At least 78 people are dead in Texas after catastrophic flooding devastated the Central Texas region over the weekend. At least 40 people are still missing, including 10 campers and 1 counselor from Camp Mystic, as search and rescue efforts continue.
President Trump signed a disaster declaration Sunday for the flooding, and called it a "100-year catastrophe" while speaking with reporters before boarding Air Force One. He said he'll "probably" visit the Lone Star State on Friday. Trump also spoke about tariffs, Elon Musks's new political party, a recent phone call with Vladamir Putin and whether the Washington Commanders should change their name.
Earlier on Sunday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott gave an update from Austin, and officials in Kerr County spoke with reporters about the latest rescue and recovery efforts from Kerrville, Texas.
