The Old Man’s Three Questions

A young man once asked a wise old man three important questions:
What is the best time to do anything?
Who is the most important person?
What is the most important thing to do?

The old man didn’t answer right away. Instead, he invited the young man to help him in his garden. While they worked, a wounded stranger came running. They helped and cared for him.

Later, the old man said:
The best time is now, because it’s the only time we have.
The most important person is the one you are with right now.
The most important thing is to do good for others.
